Permanent hairline restoration option

One of the most common cosmetic concerns faced by both men and women is hair loss. Hair thinning and baldness are often associated with aging, but nowadays boys as young as in their late teens are struggling with receding hairlines and balding crowns. If you are also battling a never ending war against hair fall, this is probably high time to take some drastic measures. There are countless treatment options available to regrow lost hair, ranging from natural remedies to oral and topical medications to injectables (ACell /PRP Hair Loss Treatment). But there is only one treatment by far that offers permanent hairline restoration and that is a Hair Transplant Surgery.
What is a Hair Transplant Surgery?
A hair transplant surgery involves moving healthy hair follicles from an area with a thicker hair profile to an area with hair thinning or baldness. The technique does not help you grow new hairs, instead using the existing hair on your scalp to produce a natural look on the forehead and a thicker and denser crown area.

Techniques used for hair transplantation:
Two techniques are used for surgical hair transplantation, the Follicular Unit Transplant Method and the Follicular Unit Extraction method. Both the techniques differ only in ways of follicle extraction. The transplantation phase for them is same. Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT), also known as strip method transplant, involves cutting a linear strip of healthy hair bearing skin, which is further dissected under a powerful microscope to obtain grafts for transplantation. Follicular Unit Extraction, on the other hand, uses a specially designed punch tool to directly extract hair follicles from the donor area, without needing any cutting or stitching of the skin.
Graft implantation:
After extracting the required number of grafts using either of the FUT and FUE techniques, the surgeon moves on to transplantation phase. The recipient area is first prepared by crafting small incisions at specific angles to add a natural look. The grafts are then carefully placed in these small holes to complete the surgery.
Recovery period:
An average hair transplant surgery requires extraction and implantation of 1000-1500 grafts. So, you can very well imagine that recovery from the surgery can never be an overnight process. It takes over a month to completely recover from a hair transplant surgery. However, it takes 8 to 12 months before you will be able to see transplanted hair growing normally. Your patience and cooperation is the key to a successful hair transplant.
Why hair transplant surgery’s results are permanent?

The hair follicles used for transplantation are selected carefully from the baldness resistant areas to make sure that they don’t fall prey to androgens again. This is why a hair transplant surgery is regarded as permanent hairline restoration option.
